1 Day and 2 Day (Residential) Workshops available
3 Day (residential) workshop including ‘Setting up your own upcycling business’ and ‘Practical Decoupage’
1 Day Workshops:-
These are full day workshops – 10am to 5pm;
Usually run on a Wednesday or a Saturday (other days available on request – just email me on justine.blythe@btinternet.com)
Course includes:-
- Tools and materials for your project (Bring your own small piece of furniture)
- Full tuition including painting and decoupage
- Refreshments (not including lunch)
- Before and after photos
Price £150 (£130 each for multiple bookings max. 5 persons per day)

2 Day/3 Night Residential Practical Workshops:-
Check in between 2pm and 6pm on day one. Pop into the studio (10 mins drive away) and we will discuss your piece and ideas about what you want to achieve – we have a large selection of papers and paints for you to choose from.
Night One; 2 course dinner with a drink. Introduction and orientation.
You can sample the delights of the cocktail bar in the hotel before dinner if you choose 
then we will all sample the delights of Charlotte’s cooking……don’t have too many cocktails as we have work to do in the morning!
Day One in the studio – 10am until approximately 5pm
Design your piece; getting started on the furniture preparation in the morning and working on the painting in the afternoon…..
Back to the hotel for another lovely dinner to discuss what we have achieved so far…..
Day Two in the studio – 10am until approximately 5pm
Learning the art of decoupage in the morning; then finishing / protecting your piece in the afternoon…. finally, staging your piece for the photoshoot.
The photoshoot – then you get to take your masterpieces home
The final night’s dinner gives us a chance to relax and appreciate what you’ve achieved.
Course includes:-
- 3 nights, 2 course dinner, bed and breakfast at the boutique, Georgian Acqua Beach hotel on Weymouth’s beautiful seafront

Combining a business course and the practical painting and decoupage skills workshop:-
This workshop will give you everything you need to know to set up a successful upcycling business.
Day 1:
Covering all aspects of running your own small upcycling business including:-
Accounts / taxation
Selling sites
Sourcing stock
Pricing
Marketing and social media
Copyright
and much more…
Days 2 & 3
Practical tuition in the workshop.
Course includes:-

- Refreshments and lunch

At the end of the 3 days you will have all the skills and knowledge you need to successfully run your own upcycling business.
- £730 (two persons sharing)
- £25 per night single person supplement (£830)
