Stunning bureau / desk in pewter grey with metallic patina and rich gold highlights.
The bureau has been expertly decoupaged in a metallic silver paper featuring peacocks and blossom in pewter and gold. The top dome has been decoupaged in a co-ordinating pewter and gold subtle stripe to add interest.
Hand painted Chinoiserie scenes of a tree and peony & blossoms adorn the sides
The interior features a pop of yellow florals and subtle stripes adorning the cubby holes and work pad.
The bureau has cabriole legs with ornate lion feet highlighted in gold and gorgeous gold drop handles.
The drop front has a working lock and key.
The glamorous look has been finished with a gold tassel.
