Demi-lune console table, hand-painted in a pearlised green and taupe with gilded edges.  The top and drawers have been decoupaged in French style bird papers.  The top also has faded and distressed gold and green stencils on a cream background.  The green legs have gold pinstripes and feet.  Protected with 8 coats of clear varnish and waxed.

The top, doors and drawer fronts have been decoupaged in a Chinoiserie style paper featuring birds and blossom which has been aged and protected with 8 coats of clear varnish. The interior has the original decoupage with Chinese characters. The original ‘fish’ lock still works. The unit has holes cut in the back to accommodate media.
